we wonby the mercy rule/i saw an opposum

this was a weekend of many firsts including the lightening turtles winning their first game of the year-also the first game we played, and by the mercy rule no less.
i also wen for a very short walk along the beach at fort tilden sat night, and on the drive there we saw an opposum cross the road. it was pretty great.
there were some other firsts too, but i won't mention them here.
going to the guggenhiem today, i'm pumped. need to get to ps1 and moma and see the biennial.
i went to the murakami show last week, i wasn't blown away. i was also looking at it from an educator's eye and not totally just appreciating the art. i hope i get to take my roommate's class through it.
marathon is moving and he is stressed over it. which is reasonable-moving is stressful.

big day

and i didn't get out of bed til 2

exchanged change for cash. my guess of 42.78 was off by about 40 bucks.
signed up for my last tennis clinic, looking at the list of people signed up i fear i will have my least favorite instructor, but at least its hitting balls.
walked to the museum via the botanic garden. prospect park and the garden were full of boro park jews on vacation. a little overwhelming actually.
went to the murakami exhibit, it was good, but not necessarily all that.
went to the library
got a snack at the coop
bought a bunch of teachers books at barnes and noble
going to bosu
and then shabbat dinner
and then maybe a special field trip, well likeley the field trip unclear about the activities on the trip

in seattle area-out on whidbey at griffin's folks pretty sweet house, looking at their lazy but cute dog nap, admiring the awesome wooden animal train toy i bought their adorable son who is pretty awesome, although apparently still not with the sleeping though the night thing.
thinking about eating some bread even though its passover. so unconnected to all things jewish these days.
mickey's wedding was pretty great, although sad in some ways for me. but i am always into dancing with my dad...
