tutoring got cancelled, so stayed at work til 6:30 for some lame ass reason...
no gym. thankful for lava tomorrow

did some non-intelelctual work for this project, but that really only matters if i'm using this computer.
ok 1 more lesson for 3 grades before i really call its quits...

good trip to the burgh

felt calm, and nice, fallingwater is cool, t-day was nice.
it pains my heart to see my dad light up at little kids, so i'm glad he has some in his life without me.
however i think i got sick. just a cold. should go make some tea.
and was a nice time for marathon and i. hope now back to the real world we can stay happy and calm and have this good outlook.

shit im broke

obviously it could be worse. and i get paid on friday. but that paycheck is more than spoken for, will need to pay special friend soon. yikes. is all i can say.

good weekend? certainly not a bad one

dropped my phone in the toilet. it has some issues, and doesn't appear to recognize the letter m anymore, but works enough.
major cleaning began this morning. and the apt looks good. cleaning certainly not finished--bedroom not touched.
long bike ride turned into regular bike ride to hebrew bookstore. was ok. but also restocked on the whole wheat soup nuts, not the same but to me and my blandness liking maybe even better.
my brakes need adjusted on bike. should have had done when i took it in on friday to have derailer dealt with. guy told me that was least of my issues-but also the cheapest to fix. i told him i want bike to make it through the winter and in the spring i will either put money into it or buy a new bike.
guess i should start a new bike fund...
was chilly on bike ride today.
dropped off 32.50 of laundry. need to launder and get new futon cover...
sad to read a friend's blog and see she is having rough time so far away.

fell asleep watching a movie, slept on the couch

seriously. two minutes ago i had the thought that i had many things to write, now the window is open and i can't think of any of them.
going to ripley's believe or not this weekend. not sure when. but a groupon was bought and expires tomorrow (not bought by us)
freelance project slowly coming along. spent a lot of time yesterday downloading and organizing files on my computer (which means can only work on my computer) b/c their naming convention makes no sense to me and the files when you open them don't say what lesson they belong to. can only do about an hour on intellectual work on it at a time bc otherwise i confuse lessons and get it wrong. so hope for an hour today after i drop off electronics to be recycled.
wait wait don't tell me is on in two minutes and i want to listen but that will also delay me in getting out of the house, when i actually have some momentum at the moment--decisions.

oh last night, so much more stuff to say about the media and how they influence public opion more than report on it i think--i think this is esp true in politics and thougths about the economy. i have no proof only gut feeling but feel confidant in it.

dreams

i always have crazy dreams. sometimes vivid. sometimes cause me to get night sweats, which make the bed uncomfortable. i have been having ones involving using the bathroom, or my inability to due to lack of bathroom. anyone know what that means in dreams world?

even with the time change not nice and bright when i wake up. it's light but not quite enough to motivate.
hopefully it wont rain on me as i bike today.

whatever. i need to let it slide

and delegate some stuff more. people would probably have more ownership-and feel more grateful about stuff if they did it to. even if that means them doing a lame job in more time.

feels like a while

we are doing some apt upgrades. got an entertainment center, and are getting rid of 3 pieces of furniture. seems a little homier. and our big sat night adventure is going to finally buy a tv. woo hoo.
saw in time today. why could she not change into a decent pair of shoes for all that running. and b/c they bought the tickets online they were $15 fucking bucks. no way.
finally am starting freelance gig. should probably be doing some now...
osage oranges look cool. we saw one in the park a few years back and were like, what the fuck are these. then i saw someone in union square green market selling them as insect repellant not to eat. wish i had had time in the union square green market, so much good looking stuff--brussel sprouts on the stock (none at grand army plaza) but had to run to bad movie.
