shocked and appalled

so we have 10-15 minutes on fridays where we don't totally know what to do so i have decided to read my collection of picture books. true i started with a hard confusing one, but the reactions to today's selection and that most people had not heard of it was shocking, they couldn't lose themselves in the book, or think creatively at all and we were reading this missing piece meets the big o. for sure we will now be reading picture books each book. i look at my collection and want to bring them all in right away.

been a while a stumbling through today

no haircut, no bank, no clean, apt, no gym class. hopefully bank and gym on own will happen. and some crazy and not so crazy but certainly comment worthy things happened in the last month. and as i remember some of the more serious ones i feel less happy about throwing out tweet like blurbs about the less serious ones. not mentally prepared for yom kippur at all, have been less and less in recent years. this doesn't please.
