Why can.t I just make an effing descion?

Sitting here in a coffee shop about to run out of batteries and to cry b.c I waited so ducking long to try to plan a vacation and won.t let me parents plan one for me and am sad I won.t be able to go away.

Bare naked ladies was super disappointing last night but I.m not sure if it was me or them.  Would have been worth it to have a ticket and be there for whole show, but not just for them.  Didn't.t realize that line up had changed also.

mr civic lives in a world that does not exist

where people have company jobs their whole life and can count on that pension.  i am totally pro union, but i do not think he understands how the world works in this day and age at all, sometimes i find in endearing but most of the time i find it frustrating.

somehow left my book at a resturant in the east village last night oops.
super humid here.
made it to govenor's island for an hour today to ride french carnival rides from the 20s and win a yummy lollipop as a prize.  was glad we pushed through the not so great weather and went.

made it to my first beach day of the summer yesterday, at the rockaways.  interesting to see how beat up, or evidence of how it had been beat up, some sections of the beach and boardwalk were, but others were not. left at the magic hour, but that was ok.

first ever trampoline lesson tomorrow.  a little nervous, but recommended to take them to move to next level in flying trapeze, although i am not there yet and don't know i will get to that point/  but i fly again on thurs.

well i made it to the gym

and made an eye exam appt, but don't think i want glasses from that place.
and was about to head out, but found out gallery is closed.  should have gone to the beach, but oh well.
so far enjoying the family fang.
annoyed at mr civic on how he shuts down communication and then gets annoyed at me for not communicating.

if i were to start a life registery first item would be a nice picnic basket set.

of the 3 bands at celebrate brooklyn tonight, trampled by turtles has the best name (headliner) but i liked the 2nd band devil makes three best.

Americanah,  very good although. Like so many captivating books I found the ending not as captivating as the majority of the books.  It was forgone in many ways how it would end, and had to at some point but was not as lovingly done as the rest of the book.  That being said, just read it.  Also my first ebook experience.
I am now on to the family fang, which got a lot of good press a while back. Purchased in tangible book form b.c I could force myself to get to the library, well I will have it to pass on.

Wedding was fine.  Chill looks amazing for having had 2 rounds of chemo.

Seeing special friend twice a week for a couple weeks.  Errr

Took a flying trapeze class yesterday.  Had a hard time jumping off the platform, but did great besides that.  Bought a 5 pack and signed up for one next week and a trampoline class.  The thrill of flying after being caught is where all the addiction in it is for me.  Should have stretched my arms more. Oh well.

Um I.m cold for the first time in I have no idea how long.  Glorious. But wearing pants might be over kill.

Sad that new couple friends are moving to vt next weekend.

Do I need to buy another gift for this wedding celebration in mke?  It's always hard for me to buy gifts for people who make way more than me.

Mr civic is in the running for a job he really wants, but the commute is longer and it's a 15,000 pay cut. Yikes

I.m not having any fun this summer.

And not for any particular reason, but its making me sad and its making me lonely.

And sad that the end of local blueberry season has come, a while back in fact.

Have not been to the beach yet.  Or 4 freedoms park.  And my apt is often less comfortable than outside but it makes me less interested in going outside. I need something to read....

my big mouth

i certainly am my mother's daughter. friend of a friend's son landed in methodist last night while visiting from LA.  we brought them pizza and the resident mentioned she didn't know the place around the corner we got it from.  so i think (and then don't stop myself from saying out loud) oh july 2nd, best day to be admitted to the hospital.  the mom clearly doesn't know july 1st is when the new residents start, and i think she missed it, although asked what huh.  oof.

new possible plan-go to europe and israel.  how expensive will that be, how paralyzed do i feel in that planning....

2nd day of not really doing anything, and not in a good way.  attempted to go to the whitney yesterday but it's closed on tuesdays oops.  was in that area anyway.  and look at me not doing laundry even. bleh.

a friend just started chemo for breast cancer yesterday.  crazy, she's 35.  she found something while breastfeeding.  she should be fine but...
